Licensed Veterinary Technician (Full-Time) – Kilauea, HI

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, dentals, and appointments
• Perform venipuncture, radiology, and laboratory testing
• Provide compassionate nursing care to hospitalized patients
• Educate clients on pet health and treatment plans
• Utilize iPads and digital medical records for patient charting and communication
• Work collaboratively in a positive, team-oriented environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Active LVT, CVT, or RVT license (or eligibility for Hawaii licensure) - if you're AMAZING and have 10+ years experience (preferably with some ER) ok to apply
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail
• A team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Passion for high-quality patient care

Veterinary Assistant

Kaua'i North Shore Animal Clinic is looking to add an assistant to our team.

Experience:
Experienced and comfortable around cats, dogs (of all sizes and temperaments)

Key Qualities:
Comfortable handling dogs and cats, with the desire to learn how to handle pocket pets, chickens, and more!
Possess a strong work ethic, with the ability to work energetically for the entire shift
You pay close attention to detail and can follow directions with and without direct supervision
Excellent communication skills and can communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and clients
You are always reliable, we will expect you to be punctual and dependable
You are physically able to lift up to 50# and remain actively on your feet for your entire shift

Duties:
Handling pets during exams and procedures
Hospital cleaning
Preparing for appointments
Caring for patients to ensure their comfort while in our care
