Veterinary Assistant

Kaua'i North Shore Animal Clinic is looking to add an assistant to our team.

Experience:
No experience in the veterinary field is required

Key Qualities:
You are comfortable handling dogs and cats, with the desire to learn how to handle pocket pets, chickens, and more!
You possess a strong work ethic, with the ability to work energetically for the entire shift
You pay close attention to detail and can follow directions with and without direct supervision
You have excellent communication skills and can communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and clients
You are always reliable, we will expect you to be punctual and reliable
You are physically able to lift up to 50# and remain actively on your feet for your entire shift

Duties:
Handling pets during exams and procedures
Hospital cleaning
Preparing for appointments
Caring for patients to ensure their comfort while in our care
