We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Casey has returned from maternity leave and is back seeing patients! Her compassionate care, dedication to our patients, and expertise have been greatly missed, and we’re excited to have her back in the clinic. Be sure to give her a warm welcome when you see her at your next visit!

Dr. Cindy continues to see appointments about two weeks per month. To help you plan your pet’s visit, her schedule is posted on our website and social media pages. Be sure to check there to book your appointment during her next availability.

Fear Free Reaches Hawaii!
KNSAC is proud to be the FIRST hospital in the state of Hawaii to be Fear Free Certified! The Fear Free movement aligns perfectly with our philosophy of providing compassionate care to our patients.
What does this mean for you and your pet? Fear Free is a program that is designed to minimize Fear, Stress and Anxiety (FAS) before, during and after your pets veterinary visit! By understanding and addressing FAS in patients, we’ve become even more dedicated to creating a calm and positive experience for every patient.
Every team member on our staff has undergone rigorous training and certification to make sure that we are treating pets with a compassionate experience at the clinic.
From offering quiet outdoor spaces for appointments to using pheromones, high-value treats, and interactive toys, we personalize each visit to suit your pet’s individual needs. The results have been remarkable—we’ve seen happier patients, more relaxed clients, and a supportive environment for our team.

Guess what? At Kaua’i North Shore Animal Clinic, we’re not just here for cats and dogs—we also have a special place in our hearts for our bunny friends!
In addition to annual health checkups, where we assess your rabbit’s weight, dental health, eyes, ears, and coat condition, we offer essential preventive care services. These include dental trims and floats, spay and neuter procedures, microchipping, pedicures, and scent gland expressions.
Did you know that rabbits purr when they’re happy? They also perform joyful leaps, kicks, and midair twists called “binkies”—their way of saying, “I love my life!”

Meet… Loalani
The Golden Retriever with a Bunny Heart !
This month, we’re excited to introduce Loalani, a playful and affectionate 24-week-old Golden Retriever who brings joy to everyone she meets.
Loalani has a special bond with her beloved toy—a baby coconut—which she treats like her little companion. She adores her mommy and daddy, who spoil her with love, cuddles, and even the occasional costume, PJs, or festive Christmas sweater!
But what makes Loalani truly unique is her adorable entourage: four bunnies and two cats! She seems to have fully embraced her inner bunny, eagerly joining in on veggie feasts—especially when romaine lettuce is on the menu.
With her loving nature and playful spirit, Loalani is proof that family comes in all shapes, sizes… and species!
